Recap: 3/17/2007 Canucks vs Oilers
Deeply regretting the fact that they were missing out on countless St. Paddy’s day celebrations worldwide, the Canucks showed up for game two of the series against the Oilers. Despite spades of confidence, we did not have the four-leaf clover this night, as we ended up losing the game 3-2 to send it to a third and deciding match on our home ice next Friday night.
Even though we lost, the game was one of the best yet. The playoff atmosphere was obvious as both benches didn’t stop chirping from start to finish. The sticks and elbows were flying high, and more and more players were sent off to the sin bin as the competition heated up. The Oilers scored a nice goal in the first to light a fire under our collective asses. Soon afterwards we scored two quick goals to take the lead. We settled down to play safe and protect the lead, but the Oilers managed two quick goals in one shift to take the lead, and then never let up to take the win. The Canucks took the loss hard, and decided to drown our sorrows in a few pints of St Paddy’s day goodness. Next week in the big game we’ll be back better than ever. Time to sharpen those skates and lace’m up tight. It’s win or go home boys!

perhaps you oilers should give us lessons before the next game. afterwards we'll show you how to stop. it seems your guys just slam themselves into the boards.

Every time I watch a new video, I see Wade sitting on the ice waiving his arms at the ref, after swinging at someone’s ankle. He sees you buddy, if you wanna say hi, just say hi, you keep this up he's going to put a sucker in your mouth and wrap you in a blanket.

Nice game on Saturday guys. Sorry I let you guys down and couldn't preserve the win. This week is all business though. We all have to make sure that do our best every shift and we'll come out on top. Thats all any goalie can ask for.

Dear Oilers, sorry for falling down when getting hit from behind and when I got kneed at center ice. Oh, and also for when I got cross-checked in front of the net... oh and also when I took a stick to the throat after we scored our first goal. I do find it interesting that on each one of those plays, an Oiler went to the box. So, please, teach me how to act like an idiot on the ice too, that way I also can spend some time in the penalty box.
Wade.
p.s. if you have something to say... don't be a wanker.. at least sign your name.

Wade, I don't play for the oilers, I am just an A division superstar using the videos to scout for new players that got game. Your game seems to include a little whining, thats all.

funny thing is: everyone in the crhl thinks they're an a division superstar (including all the oilers, as much as they deny it).
at least come up with an original sign in name--it keeps the rest of us laughing
p.s. you certainly can't tell the oilers don't care about crhl hockey the way they celebrate after a win. it's ok to enjoy hockey guys

I'm in the middle of arranging ice for next season, and I asked if they have any other options available. They said we could either keep our current timeslot of Fridays at 9:30, or switch to Saturdays at 9:30. Anybody want to switch to Saturdays?
I did try to get an earlier time on either night, but nothing is available.
